CPHFW: Scandi style on the spotlight

I’ve been falling in love with scandinavian style for quite some time now. For me, is the way they so seamlessly introduce edgy style into classic.

I have been amazed by this season’s collections.

Paolina Russo

This is for me is what a real life fairy would wear! I love the combination of textures, earthy tones and unexpected silhouettes.

And if you know me, you know i love a good pair of baggy jeans. And these are so different and fun.

Let’s also mention the shoes, i’m still debating whether i like them or not. But if i get one point, is the one of sporty meets chic.

OpéraSport

Redefining the meaning of sporty? Yes. And making it luxurious.

The ruched dress had me astonished, and it reminded me of how much i love the black and blue combination. This look is just perfectly put together.

Lovechild 1979

The gold chunky jewelry does something in me. It feels effortless and chic at the same time.

The simplicity and charm of classic wins each time and this collection is proof of that.

Remain

I love how they deliver the IT looks each time.

Apparently the shoulder pads are having a come back yet again.

It is definitely the year to reimagine the suit, deconstruct it and transform it in every way possible!

Rotate

The definition of cool, edgy and chic. This collection represents the bold side of us and it’s an open invite to taking risks.

I do love the trend of the sparkly, lace briefs and the sheer socks (which i saw first on Leandra Medine Cohen and naturally bought this pair that haven’t styled yet).

Everything about this collection says: cool girl.

Saks Potts

I’m obsessed to say the least. I love everything about it. Mermaid dreams in full force. It was interesting to see the sequins layered over denim, a trend i can’t wait to see on the streets.

The long cargo shorts are a staple and give you access to that effortless chic look. The belt bags are definitely back but of course reinforcing the double bag situation paired with a tote.

And i do have a serious question: are briefs the new pants? bc this season is proof of that.

The Garment

If i had to choose one look it would be #6. It has everything i like: baggy trousers, embroidery, leather jacket, chunky jewelry and ballet flats.

Sophia Roe has impeccable style and we couldn’t expect less of her collection. In my opinion it reflects the perfect balance of subtle, classic and sophisticated.

I have to mention the jewelry choices were unexpected in an absolutely perfect way.

Ganni

One of the most awaited shows of the season, Ganni is always fun and exciting to watch.

This season we can see the emphasis on the tomboy meets fashion icon feel. And once again, the sheer socks!

Layering game on point, and yet another version of the pointy ballerina. The cinched waist and the mini bags appeared as as call for for chicness and the slouchy boots, belted strapless tops and off white knit the contribution to the edgy feel.

Stine Goya

I don’t know if it’s bc is in my favorite color, but the first dress is simply perfect. And it describes perfectly this whole collection.

It feels effortless, chic, clean. And those are my favorite words.

Gestuz

This was immaculate. Cool to the core and so fresh at the same time.

The sheer black dress paired with the oversized leather jacket is my favorite.  I absolutely love the oversized look on everything and it’s clearly still going strong.

TG Botanicals

Environmentally friendly, so different and it has a unique charm to it.

I would call it easy statement pieces that you bring in to freshen up your style.
