Shifting your perspective: Wellness tips for the new year
As the year comes to an end, we hope the new one to bring much better things. Going within and reconnecting with yourself is key to know exactly what you need to let go and what you want to receive into your life.
Self care habits are a vital part in the process of becoming the best version of you there can exist. These are individual for everyone, as a matter of what you enjoy the most doing and what feels right for you, don’t forget that your gut is your best friend.
And if there’s just one tip I could give you is: wear your sunscreen and drink your water.
It all starts with gratitude
What I mean by this is: be grateful for the simple things you enjoy in the everyday basis. When you shift your perspective and decide to be positive, everything else follows. We are the energy we put out there.
Consistency is key
Staying consistent is the secret, whatever you choose to do, you can achieve if you keep up with it. Little things that you do everyday will sum up and make for success, those things will define you. Don’t be afraid of the process but cherish it, enjoy it and be in charge of your own well being.
Your diet is not only what you eat
I have come across this quote several times for the last three years: » Your diet is not only what you eat. It’s what you listen to, what you watch, what you read, the people you hang around. Be mindful of the things you put into your body mentally, physically and spiritually.» And it resonates with me SO much, it reminds me that we, as human beings are in charge of what flows in our space, the energy we choose to vibe in, it’s all within our own power.
Finding new ways to reconnect with those things that make you truly happy is the priority, life isn’t easy but is not supposed to be hard either. Be gentle with yourself and with others, compassion is one of the greatest forms of love.
